The Wahat Al Sahraa Laboratory was established in 2006 with a vision to develop a state of the art R&D capability to meet the needs of the region. To further deepen and enhance knowledge around soil, water, nutrients and diseases, this laboratory has been able to focus on the regions plants and there requirements.

Now it is taking a pride of having four fully established departments of Plant Protection, Plant Nutrition, Plant Biotechnology and Marketing Research. Laboratory is completely facilitated with the latest top class equipments in all the departments and a newly developed plant molecular disease diagnosis centre in the department of Plant Protection with the latest available DNA technology.

It is worth mentioning that Laboratory has fully competent personnel with minimum graduate level to the highest level of specialization in their respective fields.

Wahat Al Sahraa Laboratory has been accredited for ISO 17025:2005 as a testing laboratory through Dubai Accreditation Centre, Dubai Municipality and certified for GSO standards through Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology.

Wahat Al Sahraa Laboratory is the first Agricultural Materials Testing laboratory which has been accredited through DAC, Dubai Municipality.

By combining all the facilities mentioned above Laboratory is helping out the entire Wahat Al Sahraa Nurseries, Desert Group sister companies and valuable customers and consistently serving humanity and particularly people and soil of UAE.
